Craven County Awarded Additional EFSP Funds
4/9/09 | American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 Funding On Thursday, April 9, 2009, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced funding available through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) for the Emergency Food and Shelter National Board Program (EFSP). The EFSP National Board has awarded funds made available through ARRA to qualifying jurisdictions through their EFSP Local Board and to State Set-Aside Committees. The funds awarded through ARRA have been made available to respond to increases in need for emergency services being seen by emergency services provider agencies. Award materials mailed to Local Boards and State Set-Aside Committees include instructions and deadlines.
